Palani Murugan Temple is one of the most revered Arupadai Veedu (six abodes) of Lord Murugan, located atop the Sivagiri Hill in Tamil Nadu. The presiding deity is worshipped as Dhandayuthapani Swamy, depicted in a simple ascetic form. It is believed that Lord Murugan chose Palani as his abode after a divine disagreement over the sacred fruit (gnana pazham), symbolizing wisdom. Pilgrims from all over undertake the holy Padhayatra (walk) and climb the 693 steps to seek blessings. The temple is especially vibrant during Thaipusam and Panguni Uthiram festivals.
We are dedicated to guiding and uniting the devotees who embark on the divine journey Pathayathirai towards the holy feet of Lord Murugan.
